Glazing is the cheapest signage real estate a business owns and the most commonly wasted. Window graphics turn it into identification, privacy, promotion and — with the right film — a measurable reduction in solar gain, usually for a fraction of the cost of any other signage on the frontage.

The material choice matters more than clients expect. Cut vinyl for crisp logos and copy. Etched-effect frost for privacy and a premium feel. Perforated one-way film where you need graphics outside but a clear view out. Full-colour digital print with a matched laminate where the artwork is photographic.

Applications

  • Logo, services and opening-hours lettering
  • Frosted privacy banding for meeting rooms and clinics
  • Full window promotional and seasonal campaigns
  • Perforated one-way vision graphics
  • Safety manifestation bands on full-height glazing
  • Retail zoning and department wayfinding

Installation

Glass is cleaned and de-greased, graphics are positioned and hinged, then squeegeed out wet or dry depending on the film and the panel size. Done properly there are no bubbles, no lifted edges and no adhesive haze — and the graphics come off cleanly years later without damaging the glass.

Why it works

Benefits of window graphics

The best value on the frontage

Dramatic visual impact for a fraction of the cost of fabricated signage, and generally no permit required.

Privacy without losing daylight

Frosted film gives meeting rooms and treatment rooms genuine privacy while keeping the space bright.

Clean removal, no residue

Quality cast films release cleanly at end of life — important when a lease makes you responsible for reinstatement.

Easy seasonal changes

Promotional graphics can be changed as often as your campaigns require without touching the permanent signage.

FAQ

Common questions

If your question is not answered here, get in touch — we are happy to talk through the detail.

Quality cast vinyl on interior-applied glazing lasts seven to ten years. Exterior-applied graphics on a south-facing elevation are more like five to seven. Laminating printed graphics adds meaningful UV and scratch protection and is standard on anything we print.

No, provided the right film is used and it is removed properly. We use cast films with removable adhesives on glazing. Problems almost always come from cheap calendered vinyl left far beyond its service life.

With perforated one-way film, yes. It reads as a solid graphic from outside while occupants see out with only a slight reduction in clarity. It is the standard solution for storefronts that want full-window artwork without feeling boxed in.

On large areas of full-height glazing, building code generally requires visible markings so the glass is not walked into. We handle this routinely and can make the required banding part of the design rather than an afterthought.
