Installation is where a good sign is either finished properly or quietly ruined. Wrong fixings into the wrong substrate, a set of letters that drifts off level across a fascia, an unsealed penetration that lets water into a wall cavity — these are the failures that turn up six months later, and they are all avoidable.

We run our own install crews rather than subcontracting. They work from the same drawings the shop built to, carry the right anchors for each substrate, and finish the job properly: sealed penetrations, tidy cable routing, level lettering and a clean site.

Our process on site

  1. Site survey confirming substrate, access, services and any traffic management needed.
  2. Method statement and required permits or landlord notice arranged.
  3. Layout set out from the shop drawing and checked for level and centring before drilling.
  4. Fixing with substrate-appropriate anchors, penetrations sealed as they are made.
  5. Electrical termination coordinated with a licensed electrician where required.
  6. Final alignment, clean-down, site tidy and photographic handover pack.

Yes, we do this regularly. We will want to review the construction and the intended fixing method first — occasionally a supplied sign is not built for the substrate it is going onto, and it is much better to find that out before install day than during it.

Yes. Removal, making good the fixing holes and responsible disposal are usually done in the same visit as the new install, which is more efficient than two separate mobilisations.

Regularly. Evening, overnight and weekend installations are common for shopping centres, busy arterial frontages and anywhere daytime access would disrupt trading. Out-of-hours work carries a premium, which we quote up front.

We terminate the sign to a labelled junction box and coordinate directly with a licensed electrician for the final connection to your building supply. If you do not have an electrician, we can arrange one as part of the project.
