Cut acrylic letters give you clean geometry and a genuinely premium edge finish at a fraction of the cost of fabricated metal. Routed from cast sheet, flame-polished on the edge and mounted on studs or a hidden backer, they suit reception walls, office suites, boutique retail and any interior where the lettering needs to feel considered.

Cast acrylic — not extruded — is what makes the difference. It routs cleaner, polishes to a genuine glass-like edge, and holds colour far better under UV. We keep a full range of opaque, translucent and coloured cast sheet, plus mirror and frosted finishes.

Finish options

Standard opaque colours throughout the sheet, clear with polished edges for a floating glass effect, frosted and satin for a softer contemporary look, mirror finishes in silver and gold, and painted faces where you need an exact brand colour that is not available in stock sheet. Laminated build-ups combine two colours in a single letter with a visible edge line.

In sheltered locations, yes — under a canopy or soffit acrylic performs well. For fully exposed exterior positions we generally recommend fabricated aluminium instead, because acrylic is more vulnerable to impact and long-term UV in an unprotected position.

Most interior lettering is 1/4" or 1/2". For larger scale or where you want a substantial shadow line, 3/4" and 1" read much better. We will recommend a thickness based on the letter height so the proportions look right.

Yes — edge-lit and halo-lit acrylic both work well. Halo-lighting a stud-mounted acrylic letter off a wall is a particularly effective interior treatment. If you want front illumination, a fabricated channel letter is the better construction.

We supply a full-size paper template with the letters. Studs are set into pre-drilled holes with adhesive and the letters stand off the wall by a specified spacer distance. It is a straightforward install and we can do it or hand the template to your contractor.
